I’m currently trying to keep the children busy with a few activities such as baking, cooking and keeping fit. We’re all big fans of a sweet afternoon treat and now that we are spending all day every day at home, the need for suitable snacks and treats is more important than ever.

store-cupboard flapjacks

Instead of going out to shop for sweet things, I’m trying to get into the habit of baking and using up what I have in the cupboard. So, the first recipe I’m sharing with you are these simple store-cupboard flapjacks. So much better than shop bought flapjacks and much cheaper too.

I’m keeping the Mexican theme going for January I’m keeping the Mexican theme going for January and I’ve just released the menu over on my story. Or you can head over to my website to see it - link in bio. This was the pork carnitas from NYE, served with fresh pineapple salsa. Such a good combination and this is the sort of food that adds big flavour to the dullest month of the year. Still amazed by how many of you love Mexican food. Already taking orders for this week!
