Tomorrow sees the launch of #WakeUpToOrganic. The Organic Trade Board and The Soil Association have reached out to independent organic retailers to take part in ‘Wake Up To Organic’ – a new campaign designed to raise awareness of organic products this summer.
I will be writing about this campaign and sharing with you two very adaptable and nutritious breakfast ideas after I have spent tomorrow morning chatting about organic breakfast ideas with the customers and co-workers at As Nature Intended (Spitalfields).
Catherine Fookes, Campaign Manager at Organic Trade Board said:
“Wake Up To Organic is an opportunity for us to celebrate the organic difference and really drive footfall in advance of existing Naturally Different and Organic September campaigns”.
I am going to be supporting the “Wake up to organic” campaign by handing out samples of my organic granola and sunshine smoothie at As Nature Intended’s Spitalfields branch tomorrow morning. There will also be copies of my recipes to take away with you and a chance to win an organic hamper full of goodies in store. So come along if you live or work in Spitalfields tomorrow and get your free organic breakfast on the house!
You can follow #WakeUpToOrganic on social media throughout the day tomorrow. I hope to show you how easy and cost effective it is to include organic products in your weekly shop without any significant impact on your shopping budget. And breakfast is a fine place to start, I hope you agree.
