Commuters at Liverpool Street station must have taken an unexpected double take in March when they discovered the arrival of a frozen pop-up pizzeria on their regular morning stroll along the concourse.
This frozen marvel was the brain-child of frozen pizza company Dr. Oetker Ristorante and features as part of their #freshnessfrozen campaign in order to promote their thin and crispy frozen pizza brand.
Commuters of all ages were able to both see and touch the amazing ice spectacle which had various pizza ingredients suspended within it’s glacial walls. The stunning display was available for all to see until the early evening for maximum passer-by impact.
This pr campaign by Dr.Oetker has a £2 million pound marketing budget which includes their first ever money back guarantee (on pack promotion) and some serious media promotion, including this video below.
The aim behind the video is to promote the freshness of the Dr.Oetker frozen pizzas, hence the chosen hashtag #freshnessfrozen.
