Thanks to Janice at Farmersgirl Kitchen for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger Award! I have been blogging for about a year now and have to say have enjoyed every minute of it. This is because I have discovered a love for writing as well as  for reading the many brilliant food  blogs. I love getting inspiration from them all.

It has most definitely made me try out new techniques, flavour combinations and dishes that I have always put off making until now. I have made some great friends along the way which I never expected to do. It’s all good as far as I can see. I have learned so much about  how to put together a blog, take  food photos, use social media and even hold monthly events!

Writing a blog does take enormous amounts of commitment and I am always amazed how much time it takes out of my week. But, I love it and want to continue on this journey, so thanks to Janice I am here with an award which makes me feel happy :-)

The Facts:-

1. My last meal would be chilli crab linguine & chocolate nemesis made for me by The River Cafe.
2. My wedding cake was made by Choccywoccydoodah.
3. I have 3 children. Two girls, 7 & 5 plus a boy of 4 who is starting school in September. (I feel old saying that)
4. I grew up and went to school in Ealing.
5. I can’t stand parsnips!

    Your choice of last meal is a pretty amazing one – I’d have to say mine would probably be from The River Cafe too! Also love the cakes from Choccywoccydoodah  - we’re clearly on the same level!

    A lovely awards and well deserved as your blog is versatile and always demonstrates lots of skills. I didn’t know you had three children and the youngest is so young, too. They demand lots of attention so it is extra effort to find the time to blog and you always do blog to such a high standard. Will pop and and congratulation the others you have nominated :-)

      Thanks Ren, yes sometimes I do think I spend a little too much time on here. But, I do love it and it is such a great creative outlet!
